The Chandler American Legion Auxiliary and American Legion Post #64 recognized Sydney Duncan, Emmerson Snovel and Robert Wood on Thursday evening. 

Duncan and Snovel were recognized for serving as Girls State delegates. The American Legion Auxiliary Oklahoma Girls State is a premier program for young ladies going into their senior year of high school across the state of Oklahoma.

Wood was recognized for serving as a Boys State representative. Boys State also takes place after students have completed their junior year of high school. They are selected by their local American Legion Post as a representative of the best of their community.
