Senior Ian Radcliffe has been selected to receive an Oklahoma Education Award for Arts Excellence. Radcliffe is one of 39 students being recognized in Instrumental music this year. In order to apply for this award students must have either been a member of an OKMEA All State group, received a superior solo rating at OSSAA state competition or been selected for Oklahoma Summer Arts Institute. Radcliffe met all three criteria.
The Oklahoma State Department of Education joins with the Oklahoma Alliance for Arts Education, the Masonic Fraternity of Oklahoma, and the Oklahoma Arts Council for the 34th Annual Oklahoma Education Awards for Arts Excellence. The 2025 Awards Ceremony will be held on Tuesday, April 22, at 7:00 p.m. at the Guthrie Scottish Rite Masonic Center.
Selected juniors and seniors who have excelled in their art forms (voice, instrumental, piano, dance, drama/theatre, and visual art) will be honored and recognized. In addition they will recognize outstanding school board members, school administrators, and fine arts educators for their leadership and support of quality arts education and academic excellence in Oklahoma schools.
Congratulations, Ian!
