Staff Spotlight: Kaylee Burchardt

Kaylee Burchardt is beginning her fifth year as the Elementary Counselor for Chandler Public Schools. 
 
Q: What do you enjoy most about working for the school?  
A: It's all about the students. I hope and pray that they can see how much they are loved-that's the goal! 
 
Q: If you could do any job for one day, what would you do?  
A: Be an Author with a few best selling books :)
 
Q: What three words would people use to describe you?
A: Positive, Passionate, & Energetic (once I've had my coffee lol) 
 
Q: Best vacation you've ever taken?
A: Hiking the Grand Canyon  
 
Q: What is your favorite movie? Book?  
A: Harry Potter 
 
Q: What is something that might surprise readers to learn about you?
A: I love to write. Writing is my happy place.  
 
Q: What are your hobbies and interests? 
A: Family, hiking, traveling, coaching youth sports, overall just trying to become the best version of me!  
 
Q: Where did you grow up and attend school?
A: I grew up in Chandler and attended school here K-12, and graduated class of 2005. "Once a Lion, Always a Lion"
 
Kaylee and her husband will be married 10 years in April. They have two daughters, Hartley & Hollis.  They coach their girls’ soccer teams and their favorite things to do as a family are hiking and having big family movie nights with lots of snacks! Kaylee says her greatest joy is to be their mama!
